The Wadiyars were esteemed patrons of art and culture, fostering the city’s rich cultural landscape, earning it the title of the Cultural Capital of Karnataka.

Visitors can encounter a wide array of wildlife, birds, valleys, hills, streams, waterfalls, and expansive forests. The park is even known for the Harpegnathos saltator, an ant species capable of jumping up to one meter high. Please note that the park is closed during monsoons and the mating season.
